CLEO MALONE has decided to break up the band in it’s current form to give room for other musical endeavours. The reason is not that we’re not friends anymore – actually it’s quite the contrary. CLEO MALONE has always been a band founded in our friendship and noone can take that away from us – and today the five of us are all playing together one way or the other in other bands and projects (Check out: ‘Freddy and the Phantoms’ and ‘A hound ensemble’). In a way you could say, that the musical friendship and collaboration of CLEO MALONE has somehow lost it’s steam and because of this we’ve decided to stop while we’re on top – so to speak. And it’s been a great run! With two demoes, one EP, many more songs and 3 years of 50-or-so concerts all over Denmark and Germany, we are glad and proud of everything we’ve accomplished. We are of course going to miss playing and performing for all of you guys and somehow the ride over The Great Belt to Jutland will seem kind of hollow, when the destination isen’t an evening of rock and splender in f.x Randers. But with all that said, we are still all very glad for this decision, we have made together.
